Exterior Design of P5

The DEEPSOUND P5 equipment features a stunning 12” display equipped with a highly responsive, pressure-sensitive touch screen suitable for industrial conditions.
It supports two types of Probe Ports:
- TC-ZIF 260 type
- IPEX 160p type The TC-ZIF variant includes 4 UT Ports, while the IPEX 160p variant includes 2 UT Ports.
Additionally, the device is outfitted with 4 external interfaces: USB, HDMI, LAN, and Power.
The robust enclosure also features a foldable stand and a secure compartment for the battery.

TFM / FMC Raw Data Export Users can directly export raw TFM / FMC data from the equipment. We fully support utilizing this data for further academic or industrial research and development.

Operation Speed

- Instantaneous Operation Speed and Max 30kHz PRF Maximize efficiency with the P5’s incredible operational speed, designed to vastly outperform typical NDT devices.
Experience PAVision’s enhanced hardware processing power, ensuring fluid adjustments to depth control, PRF, and focal law angles without any interface lag.
Furthermore, DEEPSOUND devices natively support maximum PRF values of up to 30 kHz by default.
Running PAVision alongside a positional encoder clearly demonstrates the significant leap in high-speed data collection.

Axial Resolution

- Superiority in Beam Focusing Clearly differentiable, high-resolution, and high-image quality. Unlike other typical NDT instruments, PAVision demonstrates a visible superiority in the beam focusing of detected flaws. The high-resolution images it generates allow users to clearly differentiate between even the smallest groups of adjacent micro-defects.
Coupled with the flexibility to inspect using diverse scan types (sectorial/linear), PAVision is a powerful and versatile tool engineered to handle any critical inspection task.

- Utilizing Channel Groups PAVision supports entirely customizable Channel Groups.
The program also integrates TOFD capabilities, empowering users to create combined testing methodologies, including simultaneous PAUT + TOFD configurations.

- Thickness Measurement PAVision accurately profiles differences in corrosion thickness. These deviations are mapped intuitively via color-coded C-scans. Acquired data can subsequently be exported and meticulously examined using DEEPSOUND’s advanced analysis software, DSViewer.

- 12.1” Wide Display The DEEPSOUND P5 features an expansive 12.1” vibrant display.
The large screen size ensures comfortable viewing over long periods, minimizing eye strain. Additionally, its pressure-sensitive touch screen ensures reliable operation, even when the user is wearing heavy industrial gloves.

- Remote Connection The DEEPSOUND P5’s Remote capability allows users to seamlessly run the inspection software on their desktop PCs or laptops via the onboard LAN port.
This feature is invaluable for challenging work environments or when executing CPU-intensive tasks that benefit from the elevated performance of an external PC.
